QuickBooks®Interface

CharityMaster includes an optional interface with QuickBooks Pro or Premier (version 2008 or later). The QuickBooks module virtually eliminates the need to input and edit names or track donations in two systems. The module greatly simplifies keeping your accounting and and donations data in sync. A major time saver!

Use QuickBooks to manage expenses, financial statements and 'non-donor' revenue while benefiting from CharityMaster's specialized features for managing donor information, gifts and pledges.

Dynamic data transfer

Unlike many of the big guys, our integration with QuickBooks is dynamic: i.e. entries in CharityMaster are immediately entered into QuickBooks. Most other systems require that you remember to export their data periodically and that you must specify a date range of transactions to export. What happens if you have a couple of transactions from a previous period that were not exported? You will have to enter these in QuickBooks manually of course. That not going to happen with CharityMaster.

When you enter a donor's name or the receipt of money (donation, sponsorship, event ticket sale, etc.) into CharityMaster, the name and the receipt of funds are INSTANTLY entered into your QuickBooks company file. Any changes to the name or address of the supporter will automatically update the QuickBooks customer record.

QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks On-Line?

CharityMaster has been working with various editions of QuickBooks desktop editions for years. We have implemented an interface with QuickBooks On-Line Edition (QBOE) in some of the other software we have developed and so if you are interested in seeing this implemented in CharityMaster, please let us know. We will add this to CharityMaster at no cost to you.

No need to buy multiple licences of QuickBooks desktop systems

Normally, the QuickBooks system will be installed on each workstation. However, this is not essential with our special setup capability provided the QuickBooks ‘company file’ is accessible to every CharityMaster workstation. This means that you can use CharityMaster on many workstations but you only have to buy one copy of QuickBooks!
